About Courtenay Bluebird
Courtenay Bluebird is the creator of Bluebird Blvd. and The Bluebird B-Side. She is a published writer, career journalist, and professional photographer who likes books and sweets. She laughs loudly and sincerely both in public and in private.
This week I’m reading Kim Dana Kupperman’s essay collection, I Just Lately Started Buying Wings: Missives from the Other Side of Silence. Kupperman’s prose style is clean without being spare; detailed but not embellished; and fascinating as all get out. (Look, I inhaled 60 pages last night in what felt like a single breath. She’s so good that you’ll lose track of time, darlin’.) Hope you’ll consider checking out this book.
